Decorative Pot Plants.
A Garden Corner.
pALMS and aspidistras are generally quite satisfactory for home decorations, but I think readers will be interested in a note regarding two other very suitable specimens, which afford a pleasing change. The one illustrated is Arancaria excelsa, the well known
Norfolk Island pine, which was described in last Saturday’s page, and the other plant I have in mind is Grevillea robusto, the Queensland silky oak. Both these thrive as indoor plants, and can be borne in mind when considering presents or additions to the drawing room. T.D.L.
