BOYS CONVERTED CAR.
“ Been Running Wild,” state Police. “ They were arrested on the Wert Coast and’have been running wild for the last two or three months," stated Chief-Detective Carroll when two boys, one aged 16 and the other 17, appeared before Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M„ this mom- « ing charged with the conversion to their own use on December 13 of motor-car valued at £l6O, the property of P. N. Knight. The accused pleaded guilty and were remanded to appear in the Children’s Court next Tuesday. In asking for a remand, the chiefdetective said that other charges were pending for offences alleged to havo been committed up Nelson and Blenheim way. There would also be a breaking "and entering charge. The boys were arrested at Bealey on Sunday and were taken to Greymouth and kept in custody.
