LOYAL CHEVIOT LODGE.
The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Cheviot Lodge. No. 9604, Ashley District. 1.0.0. F., M.U., was held in the Coronation Library on Wednesday night, the N.G., Brother W. R. Musson, presiding. One new member was initiated into the Order, the conductors being Brothers G. Ridout, P.G., and W. D. Stewart, P.G., and the lecture master, Brother E. Burgess, P.G. Votes of thanks were passed to Brother J. W. Abernethy for his gift of a ballot box for the lodge, and to Brothers G. Ridout, P.G., and R. Bailey, P.G., for their assistance in procuring regalia for the church parade. Arrangements were made to hold a dance in the Public Hall on Christmas Eve. A gift of an enlarged photograph of the first church parade of the Loyal Cheviot Lodge was made to the lodge by Brother G. Ridout, P.G. The next degree night will be held on January 13.
