AQUATIC SPORTS.
Christchurch Regatta Club Meets. The annual meeting of the Christchurch Regatta Club was held last evening in the Canterbury Rowing Club’s boathouse, Mr F. D. Kestevenpresiding over a fair attendance. It was decided to hold the annual regatta at Kairaki on February 20, subject to the permission of Mr H. Macintosh and provided that the tide would be suitable. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, Sir Robert Heaton Rhodes; president. Mr F. D. Kesteven; vice-presidents, Sir Henry Wigram, Messrs E>. Lee, H. 11. Berry, W. A. Poison. If. M’ln tosh, W. G. Atack, F. I. Cowl i shaw, J. Fry. R. E. Nightingale, G. Scott, G. Humphries. H. J. Ballin; committee, Messrs A. R. Douglas, G. Hobbs, A. T. Evans. B. Taylor, W. Duggan. F. L. Booth. D. Lee, W. G. Atack, G. Scott, W. A. Poison; honorary secretarv and treasurer, Mr R. J. Hobbs; honorary auditor, Mr Angus Donaldson.
