Australian Gains World’s Endurance Title. WALKED 411 MILES IN DAY. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received December 14, 10.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, December 14. Stanley Gard, of North Brighton Club, broke the world’s golfing endurance record, playing from 3.30 this morning until 5.47 this evening. He completed twelve rounds and four extra holes, giving him a two-hole lead over the British holder. He trailed the ball for 41* miles, playing 1025 strokes, for 220 holes. His highest round was 90 and his lowest 76.
