The annual meeting of the Sanatorium Service Society will be held at the Christchurch City Council Chambers on Monday, at 4.30 p.m., when the Mayor (Mr D. G. Sullivan) will preside. The chairman of the society (Mr P. H. Harris) expresses the hope that the meeting will be as fully attended as was last year’s, when the cause was so enthusiastically taken up. Mr William Cooper, the 79-year-old man whose disappearance from his home, 475, Cashel Street, caused fears for his safety, has been found. lie returned to his home this morning ,in good health.
