Won by a quarter of a length; a length between second and third. Time—lmin 1 4-&sec. Water Polo has been scratched for the Okains Trial Stakes at the Banks Peninsula meeting on Saturday. FIRST HURDLE HANDICAP, Of 100 sovs. One mile and a half, t 3—Simeon (Smith), 10.2 1 i 2 Whakaari, 9.11 2 I—Russet Moor, 10.10 3 Also started: Erin’s Boy. Won by two lengths, three lengths between second and third. Time—Emin 45sec.
