PRETTY WEDDING.

Bride Wears Simple Gown of White Satin. PENLINGTON—FROSTICK. The marriage was solemnised this afternoon at St Mary’s Church, Merr vale, of Marjorie, only daughter of Mr and Mrs B. A. Frostick, Aikman's Road, and Cecil Spencer, youngest son of Mr and Mrs George Penlington, Weka Street. Fendalton. Archdeacon P. S. Haggitt officiated and Mr A. Lilly was the organist. The church was beautifully decorated with pale pink rhododendrons, pinlc blossom and orange blossom. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a handsome frock of white satin beaute made on simple lines with a fitting bodice, long sleeves and fullv flared skirt. The skirt, cut m diagonal flares on the hips, fell to form a short train. The bodice tucked at the waist was cut in a deep point back and front and inset with lace. Her tulle veil was arranged to a lace cap which was worn off the face and held in place with sprays of orange blossom across the back and orange blossom buds across the front. She carried an armlet of shell pink tulip* and lily of the valley. . The bridesmaids, Miss Rana Redpath and Miss Meudail Moray Smith wore dainty frocks of pale apple green georgette made on similar lines. The skirts were inset with panels of lace to form flares and fell in short trains the same as the bride's. The bodices tucked at the waist were placed on lace yokes which formed a deep point at the back and their georgette coatees were finished with a scalloped basque and long sleeves forming lace mittens. Their large hats were of fine green crinoline straw turned up in front and finished at the side with pink velvet bows and they carried armlets of tulips shading from pale pink to deep rose. The bridegroom was attended by Mr F. Grant as best man and Mr w. Spensley as groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the New City Hotel, Mrs Frostick, the bride’s mother receiving the guests Wearing a smart black georgett frock with a lace yoke and insets of lace on the bodice and skirt and a black georgette coatee clasped with jet buckle. Her hat was of black balibuntl straw with a cream gardenia under the brim and she carried a bouquet of deep pink tulips. Mrs renlington, mother of the bridegroom, wore a black crepe de chine frock with finely pleated frills on the skirt and a pink and beige georgette vestee, a black lace coatee with a beige collar and a black celophane bowler-hat trimmed with an ostrich feather.
