FALL PROVES FATAL.
Child Dies from Injury to Brain. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, October 1. Margaret Eileen Hall, a ten months old child, was playing on a table with a cotton reel while her mother sat alongside sewing. The child fell to the floor and injured her head. After six weeks in the hospital she was discharged, but was readmitted a fortnight later, and died. The evidence at the inquest showed that death was due to abscess on the brain and to meningitis, following head injuries.
