RICCARTON RACES.

Heavy Cut in November Stakes. REDUCTION OF £6490. The Committee of the Canterbury Jockey Club has passed the programme for the spring meeting. The programme will thus consist of eight races on the first and fourth days and seven races on the second and third days. The following table shows the comparison between the stakes for last season and this season First Day. Refiuc-

On the second and third days, the first race to start at 1 p.m. Stewards’ Handicap—That the rehandicaps for winners of races of 300 sovs and 500 sovs collectively be reduced to 200 sovs and 300 sovs respectively.
