SLIP AT CHARTERIS BAY.
Hundreds of Tons of Clay Swept Away. Many hundred tons of clay were swept away in a slip on the hillside of Mr Orton Bradley’s property at Charteris Bay. The slip is situated about half a mile from the main road, and the spoil has been swept by the force of the water almost on' to the road.
