TROUBLE IN HIGH STREET.
The last street block was caused by the Communist Procession at the Bank Corner. Thousands of people watched the police as they mingled with the leaders in this melting throng. To guard against any blockage of traffic or damage to business premises in the vicinity of 161, High Street, to-mor-row morning, special arrangements have been made for prompt action to be taken to deal with the immense struggling crowd endeavouring to secure some of the displayed goods at Is each, such as Men’s and Boys’ Suits, Borcelain Hats, Pyjama Suits, Singlets, Overcoats, etc. REMEMBER THE BUSINESS OF (STILLWELL’S, LTD., HIGH STREET) has been sold and a sensational clean up of STOCK must follow.
