Deliberately Caused Big Explosion. HOPED TO GET INSURANCE. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyrigh t. (Received August 17, 11.30 a.m.) PARIS, Augu~t 16. It is suggested that the Lyons tenement explosion was caused by a woman owning an apartment building in order to secure the insurance on a body which was found amid the debris. On Friday a large tenement house in a suburb of Lyons was wrecked by a mysterious explosion at 2.30 a.m. The building was occupied by FrancoSpanish and Algerian working-class families, of whom thirty were buried in the ruins.
