WATERSIDERS CONSIDER RATIONING OF WORK.
(Special to the Star.”) GREYMOUTH, June 19. A meeting held to-day of members of the Watersiders’ Union, considered a proposal for rationing work on the wharf, thereby eliminating the standback system at present employed and ensuring each member an equal share of work. The union decided to let the shipping company discuss the matter.
