DECISION RESERVED IN KYLSANT CASE.

CHARGES AGAINST SHIPPING MAGNATE.

(United Press Assn. —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received June 20, 11.5 a.m.) LONDON, June 19. The case again.! Lord Kylsant has concluded. The Lord Mayor has reserved his decision.

Two summonses were issued against Lord Kylsant, director and chairman of the Royal Mail Steam Packet Company. “ I am referred to in each of them as a 4 director ’ of the Royal Mail Steam Packet Company, and not as chairman,” he said in an interview. “ The allegation in the first summons is ‘For having circulated, published, or concurred in making, circulating or publishing, a certain written statement of account, to wit, an annual report of the directors of the said company for the year 1926, dated May, 1927, which you knew to be false in a material particular.’ It is alleged in the summons that this was done with intent to mislead the shareholders. The second summons is exactly similar, except that it applies to the report of the directors for the year following, 1927, dated May 9, 1925. Both summonses are issued from the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Whitehall.”
