SEAMEN REFUSE TO SIGN ON WAHINE.

DISPUTE OVER ONE MEMBER OF THE CREW. When the Union Steam Ship Company at Lyttelton to-day called for seamen to complete the crew of the Wahine, which resumes in the ferry service to-morrow, none offered. A dispute had arisen as the result of the company refusing to re-engage one member of the crew. A conference is being held this afternoon between the company and the men, and it is expected that a settlement will be reached.
