GERMAN CRISIS IS REGARDED AS OVER.
(United Press Assn.—By Electric T el egraph—Copyright.) BERLIN, June 17. Dr BTuning’s Cabinet remains in office and the crisis is regarded as over. The Chancellor has promised to discuss with trade union representatives proposals for a more equitable distribution of the burdens imposed by the emergency decree. The Bourse is firmer and most of the markets have recovered. The House Committee rejected the Nationalists’ demand for the immediate convocation of the Reichstag to debate emergency means to meet the crisis. The committee is now considering the Socialists’ demand that the Budget Committee should be summoned, which Dr Bruning also refuses. The situation is still critical.
