SUICIDE VERDICT IS RETURNED AT INQUEST.
William Robert Whyte, a farmer, fifty-three years of age, was found dead with his throat cut at his residence, Saville s Road, Yaldhurst, yesterday morning and at an inquest held by Mr 11. A. Young. Coroner, last evening, a verdict of suicide was returned. Giving evidence, Herbert Whyte, a brother of the dead man, said that he last saw deceased on Tuesday evening, when he seemed normal. William Whyte was in the habit of coming to witness each morning for the milk. W lien he did not make an appearance yesterday, witness went over to his house and found him lying on the floor dead. His throat was cut and a razor was lying beside the body. William W hyte had no financial worries. Dr Vivian gave evidence that he had been attending W r illiam Whyte during the past twelve months. liis health had improved under treatment, and he had never shown signs of being depressed, nor had he shown any svmptoms of mental trouble.
