POLL ANNOUNCED FOR COLLEGE BOARD.
The result of the poll to elect two representatives of the graduates on the Canterbury College Board of Governors was announced this morning, as follows: J. R. Montgomery 232 Dr G. M. L. Lester 191 W. Brock 124 Informal votes 6 Mr Montgomery and Dr Lester have been declared elected. Mr Montgomery was a sitting member, representing the graduates, and Dr Lester takes the place of Dr John Guthrie, who did not seek re-election. Both Dr Lester and Mr Brock have previously been members of the board.
