TIMARU SOCIAL NOTES.
Miss Jill Hislop (Geraldine) will leave this week on a trip to England. Mrs E. Blakiston (Orari Gorge), has returned home after a visit to Mrs B. H. Tripp (“Orielton”). Mrs J. A. Sim (Dunedin) left for the south on Saturday after a visit to Mrs A. E. Kerr (“Belmont,” Cave). Miss Elsie Goldie (Seddon Street), has returned to Invercargill after spending a holiday with her parents, Mr and Mrs J. Goldie (Seddon Street). Miss Janet Studholme (“Te Waimate), who was the guest of Mrs H. B. S. Johnstone (Otaio), has returned home. Mrs R. B. Bell (“Arden,” Wai-iti Road), who has been on a short visit to Christchurch, returned home on Saturday. Bishop West-Watson and Mrs WestWatson (Christchurch) arrived on Saturday and are the guests of Mr and Mrs Maurice Harper (Waitawa). Mrs W. N. Bond and Miss Nancy Bond (“Dunrobin,” Southland) will arrive early this week to be the guests of Mrs Elworthy (“Pareora Cottage,” LeCren's Terrace).
