Where Stolen Goods Were Hidden .
The tree in which £3O in jewellery and cash, stolen from the residence of Mr .1. H. Stringer at Cashmere last week, was found to lie cached. II is thought by the police that the tree, which is only a hundred yards from the Plunket Society’s rooms in Chester Street, has been a place of deposit for stolen articles on previous occasions.
