ARMED MEN ROB JOCKEY FROM N.Z.
WEBSTER IS VICTIM OF STREET HOLD-UP. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received March 31, 10.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 31. The New Zealand jockey, Webster, was bailed up by three young men, two of whom were masked and armed, who robbed him of a small sum of money. Webster was on his way to report the matter to the police, but, as he approached the station, a number of shots were fired. Later, three men were arrested and charged with robbery under arms.
