“PLUNDER" AT PLAZA.
The a ll-r°und excellent programme at V le ," laza Theatre is headed by “Plunder,” a clever and uproarious Ben Travers farce, presented by the same first-rate group of players who recently delighted Christchurch audiences with “Rookery Nook.” It might well have been thought that in “Rookery Nook” Ben Travers had reached a height in comedy he would never again attain, but “Plunder” is every bit as good and with its predecessor, will be a bright spot m the memories of those who see it for a long time to come. The whole picture is a delight from beginning to end, and is a great tribute to British production acting and authorship. a talking cartoon, “ Sky Skippers,” is one of the funniest, and in “ Sacred Fires,” a picture of native life on the banks of the Ganges at Benares, India, Tom Terris takes the audience on a fascinating trip through the Indian holy city. 1
