Would Be A Big Factor In The Restoring Of Economic Position.
(United Press Association.—By Electric Telegrapn.—Copyright.) (Received March 31, 9.5 a.m.) MELBOURNE, March 31. Speaking at Bendigo, Mr J. E. Fenton said he had it on good authority that within a reasonable period, probably three months, arrangements would be made by France and America to release some of the gold that is being hoarded. This would have the effect of increasing world trade, and would be a big factor in restoring the economic position in Australia.
