WHAT TO DO IN EASTER HOLIDAYS.
VARIED PROGRAMME OF SPORTING EVENTS. As in former years, a large and varied programme of sporting fixtures ana entertainments has been arranged for the Easter holiday season in Christchurch and throughout the province. Of the most importance, perhaps, will be the Canterbury Jockey Club and Metropolitan Trotting Club’s meetings. Bowli-ng, tennis and golf tournaments will be held, each occup3’ing at least three days. Several athletic clubs will conduct their annual fixtures during the holidays, and some of the best athletes and cyclists in the province will compete.
