Mrs J. Donnald, Timaru, will leave to-night for Wellington. Mr and Mrs W. C. Smith (Ashburton) are staying at the Clarendon Hotel. Mrs F. J. Savill, Hanmer Springs, is staying at the United Service Hotel. Dr and Mrs P. D. Cameron, of Wellington, are in Christchurch. Mrs Arthur Foster is a Wellington visitor to Christchurch. Miss Janice Blunden, Knowles Street, will spend the Easter holidays at her home, “ The Downs,” Bennetts. Miss L. Hitch and Miss Watson will spend the Easter holidays at the Franz Josef Glacier. Mrs A. D. Houston, Christchurch, will spend Easter at the Franz Josef Glacier. Miss Gibson, England, will leave today for the West Coast and Franz Josef Glacier. Mrs Allen Campbell, Christchurch, is the guest of Mrs Reginald Parkin, “ Homebrook,” Southbridge. The Hon A. S. Malcolm, M.L.C., and Mrs Malcolm, Balclutha, wiTl leave Christchurch to-night for Wellington. Mrs 11. Jones, Hastings, is visiting her sister, Mrs W. E. Leverett, Bowhill Road, North Beach. Miss Gendie Maling, Durham Street North, is visiting Dunedin and is the guest of Miss Airinie Brewer, Roslyn. Mrs Victor Mulligan will spend Easter with her parents, Mr and Mrs J. C. Clarkson, Clyde Road, Fendalton. Miss Barbara Pinckney, Hastings, is spending a holiday in Christchurch, and is the guest of her aunt, Mrs Ross, Fendalton. Miss Jean Webster, Ileretaunga, who has been for some weeks visiting friends in Christchurch, has returned home. Dr and Mrs Williams and Misses Barbara and Letty Williams, Dunedin, will arrive on Thursday, and will spend Easter in Christchurch. Mrs J. Peacock, Wellington, will be the guest of Mrs M. H. Godby, Jackson’s Road, for the golf tournament next week. Miss Grace Burns, Snowdon Road, Fendalton, has been staying with Miss Irene Leaver, Osborne Terrace, North Beach. Mrs Norman Densem, Christchurch, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs A. M’Pherson, Southbridge, has returned home. The Hon J. A. Hanan, M.L.C., and Mrs Hanan, Dunedin, passed through Christchurch yesterday on their way to 'Wellington. Mrs S. W. Hill, Southbridge, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs Hartley, Lyttelton, is now in Christchurch. Mr and Mrs W. B. Franklin (Wellington) and Mr and Mrs G. A. Beauchamp (Singapore) are guests at the United Service Hotel. Recent arrivals at the Hotel Gresham are:—Messrs Douglas Walker (Bradford), G. Mr and Mrs James Catherwood and Miss Maida Catherwood, Papanui Road, will leave Auckland on April 7 by the Aorangi for a tour of America, England and the Continent. Mrs Webley and Miss J. B. Cunningham will leave to-night en route to Sydney, where they will join the s.s. Orford, which leaves for England on April 8. Mrs Charles Richardson and Miss Mary Richardson will be amongst Wellington visitors for the golf tournament to be played on Shirley links during Easter week. Mrs C. Miles and Miss Hilda Miles, Wellington, arrived in 7 Christchurch this morning. Mrs Miles is the guest of Mrs Savill, North Canterbury, and Miss Miles is staying with Mrs J. H. Hall, Papanui Road.
