CIVIL CASES DEALT WITH BY MAGISTRATE.

Mr H. A. Young, S.M., presided at a sitting of the Civil Court this morning. Contractor Claims. Alan Moore, of Christchurch, drainage contractor (Mr Smithson), claimed from Walter Butler, of Sydenham, merchant (Mr Tracy), the sum of £9, being for sixty loads of shingle and sand at 3s a load. Judgment was given for plaintiff for 4s, the amount paid into Court, and plaintiff was non-suited for the balance. Judgment By Default.
