Grapefruit Jelly. Ingredients: Two tablespoonfuls of gelatine. Half a cupful of cold water. One and three-quarter cupfuls of boiling water. Half a cupful of sugar. One tin of grapefruit, with the juice. A few dates. Soak the gelatine in the cold water for a few minutes. Add the boiling water and stir till dissolved. Add the sugar and stir well. Finally, add the grapefruit juice. Rinse out a mould in cold water and arrange some sections of grapefruit in the bottom. Pour on enough of the jelly mixture to cover. Let it harden.
