Mrs O. Richards (Albury) has returned from a visit to England. Mrs N. K. Cox (Wai-iti Road) has left for Dunedin. Mr and Mrs J. W. Fair . (Douglas Street) left yesterday for Christchurch. Dr and Mrs C. S. Fraser (Jyjtchener Square) have returned:from a visit to North Canterbury. Miss Peggy Hunter-Weston, who has l>een staying with Sir John. Roberts (Dunedin), has left for Oamaru. Mr and Mrs R. Hunter-Weston (“Highthorne”) left on Sundav to spend a few daj’s at “Mount Joan,” Tekapo. Miss Priscilla Haythorne (England!, who has been staying with Mrs B. Tripp (“Orielton”), will leave for England to-day b 3- the Rotorua. Misses Jo3*ce and Enid Edgar Jones (“Otiritiri”), who have been staffing with Mrs J. C. Guinness (“Farmleigh,” Ealing), returned home 3'esterdav*. Mrs W. Sumpter and Mrs Keith Sumpter, who have been sta3*ing with Airs F. Newton (Maltby Avenue), have returned to Oamaru. Miss Elena Helmore (“Koromiko’l, Wai-iti Road, left >*esterday for Christchurch, where she will be the guest of Miss. Bett\ r Bowen. Mrs H. Westmacott and Miss Erica Westmacott (Nile Street) returned home >*esterda3* .after spending the • week-end with Mrs 11. M. MacFarlane (“Waikora,” Waimate). Mrs Miiler (Wellington), who has been staying with her mother, Mrs Edgar Jones (‘.‘Otiritiri”), will leave to-da\ r to stay with Mrs J. C. Guinness (“Farmleigh,” Ealing). Miss Olive LyOn and Miss Betty- Cossins (“Ardnaquere.” Wai-iti Road), who have been staying with Mrs D. C. MacFarlane (“Mount Paul,” Waiau), left >*esterda3' to stay with Mrs Leslie Blunt (Kaikoura).
