The contract for the war memorial window for Canterbury College is about to be let, the matter having been under consideration for a lengthy period. It was reported to yesterday’s meeting of the College Board of Governors that a revised estimate for the window had been received from Mr Martin Travers and that the artist had stated that it would take approximately eighteen months to complete.
