NO HIGH COMMISSIONER TO BE SENT TO AUSTRALIA

It is understood that for reasons of economy the Dominions Office is not appointing a High Commissioner to Australia. It is likely that the existing British machinery in Australia will be temporarily utilised for diplomatic and commercial affairs.
