HAINES TAKES BAD TURN IN HOSPITAL.
DELICATE OPERATION MAY SAVE BOXER

The boxer Haines, who has been in hospital since his bout with Palmer on Saturday week, has taken a bad turn and is unable to recognise callers. A delicate operation may be performed on his brain to remove irritation. Haines was defeated by Palmer, and collapsed when returning to the dressing room. lie was suffering from a fractured skull.
