WOMAN’S LIFE SAVED BY COURAGEOUS GIRLS.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, January C. The courageous action of two girls averted a drowning accident at Wainui BeacJi yesterday. A young woman got into difficulties and was rapidly carried out to sea, when Jean and Josephine Warren, the latter rising from a sick bed, swam to the rescue. After a strenuous struggle, they brought the woman ashore in an exhausted condition.
