BOWLING.
CANTERBURY CLUB. A progressive pairs match was played on the Canterbury Bowling Club’s green on Saturday afternoon. Thirtytwo players took part in three games of ten heads each. The wind was northerly and squally, making bowling difficult on a very fast green. Percy Rumens won the leads’ prize, being the only player with three wins. Russell and Walter Raphael each won three games and had to play off. four heads, for the skips’ prize, which Raphael SUMNER CLUB.
