MOTORIST DROVE CAR INTO CREEK.
APPEARS in court on DRUNKENNESS CHARGE.
Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, January 5. Completely drunk, Joseph Whitson, aged sixty, drove his car into a creek at Green Island on Saturday night, the consequence being that' his brother was removed to hospital with minor injuries. Whitson appeared in the Police Court charged with being drunk in c harge of a car. He was fined £lO, his license was cancelled and he was prohibited from driving for twelve months.
