CRICKET GATE-TAKINGS.
The gate-takings for the first three days of the Wellington Plunket Shield cricket match have net come up to the record set for the Auckland match over a similar period, being £SB behind. For the three days of the Wellington match the following amounts have been taken: £154 2s 9d, £135 15s, £lB9 10s, and for the Auckland match: £229 9s, £194 5s 6d, £ll3 13s 3d, the respective totals being £479 7s 9d and £537 7s 9d. The secretary of the Canterbury Cricket Association, Mr E.
