LITTLE DAMAGE CAUSED BY WIND IN GARDENS.

The Botanical Gardens have not suffered to any extent through the boisterous nor’-west winds of the last few days. The gusts have brought down faded branches from trees and in this way have acted as a useful agent. Some of the flowers have suffered, but will regain their natural position when cooler and calmer weather arrives.

The rock and bog garden has been the subject of admiring attention by visitors. The houses are all looking well and are well patronised by lovers of flowers and shrubs.
