(Received January 5, 8.35 a.m.) LONDON, January 3. “ In 1940 it will be possible for a man to control the sex of his children and to supply from incubated muscle any defects arising during lifewrites Sir Richard Gregory (author of numerous publications on scientific subjects) forecasting for “ The Daily Mail ” processes whereby he plans to convert inorganic substance into foods to be reproduced in chemical works. 'The toil necessary to secure bread from the soil will be avoided, and instead of gross feeding the concentrated product from the laboratory will maintain the body through j, electrical stimulus of the brain. The deaf will hear and the blind see. Organic chemistry will produce new textiles competing with cotton and wool.
