TALKING FILM CLASSIC FEATURES CYRIL MAUDE

“Grumpy,” in which Cyril Maude, ©n© cf the greatest actors of the English stage, is the dominating figure, has been given such an enthusiastic welcome at the St James’ Theatre that the season has been extended for another week. The play has an intriguing plot which holds the interest of the audience, and, though Cyril Maude, as the irascible old gentleman known as Grumpy, is the central figure throughout, he is supported by a fine cast. “Grumpy” is a Paramoiint special production, and particular care has been taken to reproduce ine English atmosphere upon which much of the success of the story depends. The first part of the programme comprises an excellent assortment of talking featurettes.
