MOSLEM DELEGATE DIES FROM HEART FAILURE.
(Received January 5, 2.20 p.m.) LONDON, January 4. The death has occurred of Maulana Muhammad Alt, a Moslem delegate to the Indian Round-Table Conference, from heart failure, from which he suffered for a long time. Mr Wedgwood Benn, in a tribute, says that Ali courted death. Although he knew he was a dying man, he gladly crossed the seas to serve India. In defiance of his doctor’s orders he entertained guests on New Year's Day from his death bed, pleading for better unders trading.
