POULTRY FARMERS FORM PROVINCIAL COUNCIL.
A meeting was held on Saturday evening for the purpose of forming a. Canterbury Poultry Farmers’ Council. Mr H. Williams presided. A motion that a committee should be formed to draft a set of rules and report at a further meeting was carried. The following were elected to the committee:—Messrs H. Williams. E. J. Ross, W. Turner, S. Dick. G. H. Bradford, J. Liggins, W. E. Green, XI. W. Hawke, M.P., and W. Byers. It was decided that the next meeting, which would be tne annual general meeting, should be called for January 10, when remits for the New Zealand conference would be discussed
