The seven wonders of the ancient world would probably look tame beside the startling visions which greet the eye on a motion picture “ lot ” these days during production of films. The visions: A real Moroccan sheik eating with an Occidental knife and fork. The same sheik eating watermelon, seeds and all, and complaining that the ice cream he had yesterday burned his throat. An Oklahoma “ bad man ” with two guns—eating a chocolate bar. A minister taking a chew of tobacco between scenes. Covered wagons being towed by tractors.
