CHILDREN’S NEEDS.
Films have grown up. They have become more sophisticated, with the result that children’s needs are being neglected. It’is estimated that many children have given up the picture habit, and the renewed production of serials and the old Westerns so popular with children has resulted. It seems apparent that the only real solution to the problem lies in special programmes exclusively designed for children, or picture theatres for the very youthful only.
