CAR CRASHES OVER A 250 FEET BANK.
TWO BROTHERS KILLED ON NAPIER-WAIROA ROAD Per Press Association. NAPIER, January 2. Two men, believed to be brothers named Osborne, of Palmerston North, were killed when their car fell 250 feet from the Napier-Wairoa road at the Devil’s Elbow. Osborne’s car, which was coming from Wairoa, met a service car going down in the opposite direction. The Osbornes’ car swerved sharply to gain the correct side of the road and just grazed the service car and went over the side of the road down a very steep bank. The bodies were brought into Napier late to-night.
