MAN’S DEATH DUE TO GAS, STATES CORONER.
That Robert Sinclair Sutherland, sen., of 11, Percy Street, Linwood, died from gas poisoning was the verdict returned by the Coroner, Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., at an inquest held yesterday morning. Sutherland was employed by the Christchurch City Council and his age was fifty-two years. lie was found dead in a gas-filled room on Wednesday'. A son gave evidence of identification and stated that his father had always been in good health and had no financial worries.
