outboard motor-boats RACE AT REDCLIFFS.

Although tidal conditions were not of the best, there was some excellent racing by members of the Canterbury Outboard Motor Boat Club at Redcliffs on Saturday afternoon. A large attendance of spectators saw the scratch boat Whoopee (C. G. Collins) secure Je-well-deserved win after having taken part in a number of races without previous success. The race was of five heats, each of two laps approximately a mile long, and. was open to boats of all classes. The participants were: Whoopee (C. G. Collins), Country Boy (R. M’Millan). Texas Imp (C. K. Taylor). Riki (P. Calloway). Miss A. (T. Gough), Seahorse M. Watson), Miss Audrey (G. Blogg). Results were:— First Seat.
