KERR MISSES CENTURY.
West Christchurch, after a splendid start, in which 131 were put on for the first wicket, just managed to pass the Riccarton score of 209 to-day, the last West Christchurch wicket falling for 212. Kerr missed his century by one, being clean bowled by Rix when at 99, and Peake went for 54. Jarrett made 18, and the rest of the side failed to make an impressive showing. West Christchurch seemed sure of a first innings win by three runs. Sl®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®®.
