BILL READ SECOND TIME IN COMMONS. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received November 29, 12.55 p.m.) LONDON, November 28. In the House of Commons Dr Ethel Bentham moved a Bill retrospectively j restoring the right lost in 1870 of British women to retain their British nationality if married to a foreigner. lsr Bentham mentioned the hardship of a doctor friend who lived in an unmarried state with a foreigner rather than lose her nationality and the legitimacy of her children. The Bill was read a second time without division.
