TIMARU SOCIAL NOTES.
Miss Joyce Edgar Jones (“Otiritiri”) has returned from a visit to Oamaru. Miss Enid Edgar Jones (“Otiritiri”) is spending a few days with her brother, Mr G. Edgar Jones (Waiau). Miss Hlen Cotterill (Sefton Street), who has been staying with Mrs Stokes (Lyttelton), has returned to her home. Mrs R. L. Wigley (Highfield), who has been staying at the Hermitage, returned home yesterday. The Misses Newman (Christchurch) are the guests of Mrs J. P. Newman (“Clovelly,” Nelson Terrace). Mr and Mrs L. E. Finch (Park Lane) returned yesterday from a short visit to the Hermitage. Mrs Peter M’Lean (Wai-iti Road), who has been spending some weeks in Christchurch, has returned home. Mr and Mrs Lawrence Cook (Dunedin), who were staying with Miss Blanford (Theodocia Street), returned to the south yesterday.
