HAWKE CUP MATCH AT MASTERTON TO-DAY
Per Press Association. MASTERTON, November 28. The Hawke Cup match, Wairarapa v Manawatu, was commenced to-day. The visitors went to the wickets and at the luncheon adjournment had lost four for 49., As the score indicates, run getting was slow. Both Massey (3 for 18) and Hoar maintained an excellent length. pisaster came to the visitors in the early stages of the game, when Masse)’, in his second over, clean bowled Broughton before he had scored, and also in the following over when Falloon caught M’Vicar also before he had scored.
